H. Moser & Cie.'s Streamliner collection was officially launched in January 2020, inspired by high-speed streamliner trains of the 1920s and 30s, and uniquely, the Streamliner bracelet was designed before the case to ensure perfect ergonomics and fluidity. Now, for the first time ever, the brand is introducing ceramic in this line with the latest Streamliner Tourbillon Concept Ceramic.

The new 40 mm watch is crafted from anthracite grey ceramic, a material renowned for its hardness and resistance to scratches, as well as the challenges it presents in machining and finishing. It maintains the aesthetics of the line with a cushion-shaped case and integrated single-link streamliner bracelet, also in anthracite grey ceramic. The watch also features a mix of finishes – Vertical satin finishing on the links, polishing on the edges, and circular satin finishing on the case.

The dial of the watch features a Red fumé Grand Feu enamel. Before enamelling, a textured pattern is engraved to create a hammered effect. Two enamel pigments are washed, ground, and applied in layers to achieve the gradient tone. The colour is built through successive firings, a process that demands control, as each firing can alter the final result. There are no indices or logo on the dial. A one-minute flying tourbillon sits at 6 o’clock. Powering the watch is the HMC 805 automatic calibre, produced in-house by H. Moser & Cie.'s sister company, Precision Engineering AG, which provides a power reserve of at least 3 days. The movement’s bridges and main plate are finished in anthracite grey, complementing the case. A red gold oscillating weight provides contrast.
