Expanding its partnership with the French professional football league LFP, which began in 2022, as official timekeeper and sustainability partner, Oris has released a new LPF Limited Edition (Ref. 01 733 7771 4085-Set), available in 1000 pieces. The timepiece will support the French children's charity CNAPE, France's National Convention of Child Protection Associations, which was also brought on board for the joint project.
The limited edition watch is a Divers Sixty-Five, the retro sports model from Oris. The 38 mm stainless steel watch has a unidirectional rotating bezel with a raised minute scale. The hour and minute hands, as well as the indexes and the round surface of the lollipop second hand, are covered with Super-LumiNova. The sapphire cover glass, which is domed on both sides, has an anti-reflective coating on the inside.
The texts on the dial and base of the watch are written in children's font, brand name included. The words "Water Resistant" stand out because their letters are also in five different colours. The lettering "Les Défenseurs de l'Enfance" ("The Defenders of Childhood") engraved on the base comes from the logo of the CNAPE children's tournament.
"We are delighted that our partnership with the LFP is moving up a league. We are not interested in placing logos; we want to make a difference," says Rolf Studer, Co-CEO of Oris.
The screw-down crown contributes to water resistance of 100 meters. Inside is the Sellita SW200 automatic caliber, which Oris calls caliber 733. It offers around 40 hours of power reserve and an instant jump date display, which Oris has placed at 6 o'clock.
The watch is worn on the arm with a stainless steel link bracelet and folding clasp and is now available for Rs. 2,32,000 (approx.)
