Dubai Watch Week 2025: Biver updates the Automatique with a variety of striking dials

All the models are powered by Calibre JCB-003, developed in collaboration with Dubois Depraz
Biver first released the Automatique watches in September of 2024 in four variants: two with monochromatic dials and two with stone dials from the Atelier Series. Ever since the maiden release many variations of the Automatique have been introduced, for Dubai Watch Week 2025, the brand is picking it as a canvas again and is exploring with guilloché, gem-setting, and enameling models in the line.

These 39 mm models feature the same technical and design specifications barring the variations in the material and finishes of the dial. All watches display hours, minutes, and seconds via central hands. Powering all of these watches is the Calibre JCB-003, developed in collaboration with Dubois Depraz. It is a three-hand automatic movement wound by a 22-karat gold micro-rotor, offering a 65-hours of power reserve. The central seconds have a zero-reset mechanism for precise setting. The architecture of the Calibre JCB-003 looks as good as it performs with finishes like guilloché, black polish, and anglage, put to display with a clear caseback.

Biver Automatique Two-Tone

This model plays with two metals: 18-karat rose gold in its case and a special 18k white gold alloy called PD210 in its dial. Brushed and sand-blasted finishes can be noticed on the dial’s concentric rings. Satin-finished and hand-beveled 18-karat rose gold hands and hour markers complete the dial. There is also an applied railroad-style minute track (chemin de fer) around the dial. The crown, bezel and buckle match the mid-case. It is worn on either a Pomari calf leather strap or a matching Biver bracelet.

Biver Automatique Clous De Paris

This model features a platinum case with a 18-karat gold blued dial with a combination of sunray finish and Clous de Paris guilloché on its concentric rings. This is the first time guilloché is being used in the Automatique watch. Each dial is crafted with hours of guilloché work, done by hand utilising century-old machines. A blue applied chemin de fer and 18-karat white gold hands and hour markers complete the dial. It comes dressed on a Rustico nubuck leather strap or a platinum Biver bracelet.

Stone dials

Encased in platinum, two models feature a dial crafted from: blue quartzite and lavender jade. These models are available in many variations – The quartzite model is available in 18-karat white gold markers, diamond baguette markers, or blue sapphire baguette markers; the lavender jade model comes with either 18-karat white gold markers or diamond baguette markers. Both models are available with either a leather strap and a platinum Biver bracelet.

Apart from these, two models come in versions of gold. Encased in 18-karat yellow gold, the dial houses Oeil de Fer stone showing off a matte look, with chalky black and brown veins interspersed with hints of orange, red, and sunflower yellow. Encased in 18-karat rose gold is the mahogany obsidian dial showing a mix of deep black and swirls in red and orange hues. Each model has matching hands and hour markers and can be worn either on a leather strap or a corresponding gold Biver bracelet.

Crafted by hand, both dials are produced in the heart of Geneva’s old town at Les Emailleurs de la Cité. Both variations are completed with yellow gold hands and applied hour markers filled with white luminous material. Both come with a complementary nubuck leather strap or a yellow gold Biver bracelet.
