H. Moser & Cie. has previously released a perpetual moon phase watch powered by a hand-wound movement. The brand, for the first time, introduces an automatic movement with this complication in the latest – Streamliner Perpetual Moon Concept Meteorite – unveiled at Dubai Watch Week 2025. The new HMC 270 calibre drives the watch offering a power reserve of at least 3 days.
A slice of Gibeon meteorite shapes its dial. The Gibeon meteorite, formed in space and fallen to Earth in Namibia, is celebrated among collectors for its striking Widmanstätten pattern, a naturally occurring geometric arrangement formed by iron-nickel alloys as they cool over millions of years. These formations cannot be replicated artificially, making each dial a one-of-one piece. The maison applies a specialised treatment to reveal the crystalline pattern. A warm golden tone is introduced, followed by the house’s famed fumé gradient, adding depth and movement to the natural texture.

The 40 mm steel cushion case and integrated bracelet remain unmistakably Streamliner. The warm tones of the meteorite dial and 5N red gold hands contrast beautifully with steel. Globolight® inserts, ceramic-based luminescent accents, offer a soft glow. In classic Moser fashion, the dial remains largely blank— no logo, no indices, just the meteorite surface, moon, and hands. The moon phase, at 6 o’clock comes with a deviation of just one day every 1,027 years. There is a discreet corrector on the case flank that allows moon phase adjustment with tactile click.
