Bremont updates Terra Nova 38 Jumping Hour with a black DLC edition

Terra Nova 38 Jumping Hour has an all-black DLC upgrade with the latest Stealth Black model, and it also comes with an additional newly introduced bund strap
First introduced in 2024, the Terra Nova line of field watches by Bremont includes a jumping hour model — Terra Nova 38 Jumping Hour — inspired by early 20th-century trench watches. Following the launch, the watch arrived in April 2025 crafted in cupro-aluminium bronze, then a 904L steel version surfaced in October of the same yea. Now in 2026, the model is taking a futuristic turn with a full black DLC coating.

The 38 mm case of the timepiece is crafted from black DLC coated stainless steel 904L featuring polished and satin finishing; the DLC coating makes the watch corrosion and scratch resistant. The case retains the signature elements of the previous models: Geometric cushion-shaped case, low profile, and shortened lugs. White printed numerals covered in lume appear in vertical windows at the central axis of the dial: The hour window is at 12 o’clock, and minute window at 6 o’clock. There is also a running small seconds window, placed in the centre of the dial with the Wayfinder logo in full Super-LumiNova. The guichet windows are protected by three individual sapphire crystals.

Turning the watch over reveals a decorated closed caseback, under which beats the movement BC634, developed exclusively with Sellita, offering a power reserve of 56 hours. The movement delivers instantaneous hour jump in under one-tenth of a second. The watch comes with a matching Terra Nova bracelet fastened with a deployment clasp and an additional bund strap. The brand is introducing a bund strap to the Terra Nova field watch line inspired by early 20th century watch design, first used by pilots during WWII to protect their wrists from extreme temperatures. If that’s too chunky for you, the bund can be removed to reveal a more traditional, black calf leather strap.

Davide Cerrato, Bremont CEO says: “The introduction of a Stealth Black DLC edition to the Terra Nova Jumping Hour brings a new attitude to the montres à guichet design. Modern and unexpected, the all-black aesthetic makes a powerful statement — transformative in its impact, sharpening the design and strengthening its character.”
