Watches and Wonders 2024: Bremont unveils new Supermarine diving watches and Terra Nova field collection

The new Terra Nova field watch collection is inspired by the military pocket watches of the early 20th century
The British watchmaking company, Bremont introduces new Supermarine 300m and 300m Date models to its Supermarine diving watch series at the Watches and Wonders 2024 along with the new Terra Nova field watches collection, taking inspiration from the military pocket watches of the early 20th century. The latest models in the Supermarine line get an updated, robust, and symmetrical case crafted in satin and polished 904L steel, crown, and bezel guard.

There are two dial variations available in Supermarine 300m—royal blue or British vintage green, and two dial versions in Supermarine 300m Date—black and chocolate. The chocolate dial date reference comes in bi-coloured rose gold and steel bracelet, case and crown.

Measuring 40mm in diameter, the timepieces are incorporated with a unidirectional rotating bezel featuring Naval inspired cross-hair details that extends to hour markers as well,  the eye to The Wayfinder, Bremont’s new icon, which is engraved onto the crown. The royal blue or British vintage green dials of Supermarine 300m entails numerals at 3,6, and 9, and trapezoidal hour markers while the black and chocolate dials of Supermarine 300m Date models, there are dots representing hour markers. The hour markers and sword hands are applied with Super-LumiNova®. Additionally, there is a date window located at 3 o’clock in the date models.

Turning the watch reveals an ocean engraved closed caseback and beating inside is the automatic movement boasting a 50-hour power reserve. The watches are fitted with either a quick release stainless steel bracelet with micro-adjustment feature, a red, green, or black rubber or a brown leather strap. The watches are resistant to water up to 300 meters. 

Prices for the Supermarine 300m models start from Rs. 2,63,216 (approx.) and for Supermarine 300m Date models, the prices begin from Rs. 2,85,522 (approx.)

The timepieces in the line feature brushed and polished 904L stainless steel cushion-shaped cases with an oversized crown. The dials of the novelties entails SuperLumiNova® coated railroad minute track, oversized Arabic hour markers, and vintage inspired hands. Their closed caseback is engraved with a chart of the world and the words ‘Terra Nova’.

Different case size references join the line which include - Terra Nova 38, for the first time the brand is introducing 38mm case size. These models appear in chocolate and white dials and are completed with either steel bracelets or brown leather straps. Then comes, Terra Nova 40.5, with the same features as above, these models appear in chocolate and green gradient dials, additionally featuring a date window at 3 o’clock and a NATO strap.

Other references introduced in the line are Terra Nova 40.5mm Turning Bezel Power Reserve, appearing in chocolate and blue dials. The extra features they entail includes a bi-directional compass bezel, a power reserve featuring the cardinal signs on the dial, a small seconds sub dial at 9 o’clock paying homage to the heritage of vintage field watches, and a date window at 3 o’clock.

Powering all the above three references is the automatic movement with 38H power reserve. These watches are water resistant up to 100 meters.

The largest dial size joining the series is Terra Nova 42.5 Chronograph, featuring polished ceramic bi-directional compass bezel and dials with two counter chronographs at 3 and 9 o’clock, and date window at 6 o’clock. Beating inside these models is the automatic movement with 56-hours power reserve.
