A Right-handed IWC

IWC presents the first-ever Big Pilot’s Watch Edition “Right-hander”.

Inspired by the Big Pilot Calibre 52 TSC from the 1940's, the new Big Pilot’s Watch Edition “Right-hander” comes with a 46.2mm case featuring the same design albeit with the iconic, conical-shaped crown on the left-side of the case. This has been done on the statistical analysis that 40 per cent of pilots are thought to be left-handed.

The new pilots watch comes equipped with the IWC-manufactured 52010 calibre, encased in stainless steel protecting the automatic Pellaton winding system housing a seven-day power reserve in the twin barrels. The dial is slate-coloured and features the power reserve display at the 9 o'clock, the small seconds hand at the 3 o'clock and the date display at the 6 o'clock position. These are coated with luminescent material for nighttime legibility.

The Big Pilot’s Watch Edition “Right-hander” comes on a black calfskin leather strap and is limited to 250 pieces worldwide.
