A Jewellery Masterpiece

Here comes an elegant, inspired and beautiful timepiece - the Masterpiece Collection Spring Drive 8 Days Jewellery Watch from Grand Seiko that takes its inspiration from the winter mornings in the Shinshu region of central Japan.

The Grand Seiko SBGD205 Masterpiece Collection Spring Drive 8 Days Jewellery Watch is a fantastic timepiece that is inspired by the winter mornings in the Shinshu region of central Japan where every Grand Seiko Spring Drive watch is made. Encased in a platinum case, the Spring Drive Jewellery watch features a spark of brilliance from every angle.

Starting from the case and the dial, the timepiece brings together a perfect amalgamation of a classy timepiece with a statement look. Measuring in at 43mm, the platinum case with Zaratsu polishing makes a statement right away. Add to that the diamond dust-textured dial housing 96 diamonds and 25 deep blue cut sapphires arranged in perfect sync is a match made in heaven. What adds even more oomph to the dial is the constellation of Leo that has been cleverly worked into the background of the dial – a nod to the brand mascot – is inspired. Set nicely against the background of the diamond-textured dial is the blue seconds hand and the baguette sapphire hour hands that is in complete sync with the sapphire-pave crown and the navy blue crocodile leather strap - the watch comes together like a house on fire!

Powering this one-of-a-kind timepiece is the Grand Seiko in-house caliber 9R01 that not only clocks in a power reserve of 8 days but is also built with the exquisite finishing of the one-piece bridge that is designed in the image of Mt. Fuji. All of this can be viewed through the see-through caseback.
