The House of Bovet 1882 with its owner Mr. Pascal Rafty and its army of skilled artisans have introduced the Récital 26 Brainstorm® Chapter Two that is presented in “the iconic sloped writing case that features Bovet’s patented Double-sided flying tourbillon, a second-time zone with a twenty-four city disc, a precision moon phase while offering the chronometry of 5 days power reserve.”
A brand that limits itself to bring out only 800 timepieces annually signifies Mr. Rafty's dedication to perfect every minute detail of a particular timepiece. The Récital 26 Brainstorm® Chapter Two is no exception. As the second timepiece in the Bovet collection to be fitted with a sapphire crystal case in the emblematic writing case with an asymmetrical profile, the Récital 26 Brainstorm® Chapter Two houses an array of features. From its sloping bezel and concentric rollers to the rotating domes and three-dimensional needles, all of these features allows the timepiece to read time in new ways.
The watch is crafted in a 47mm Dimier (writing desk) case made of sapphire crystal with titanium lugs and caseback. The see-through domed dial available in blue or green translucent glass or blue aventurine glass offers a magnificent view of the movement working within movement. The hours and minutes are displayed on the uper pat of the case and the seconds are read via the index fixed on the tourbillon that resides at 6 o' clock. Two rotating domes placed at 3 and 9 o' clock displays the second timezone and the moonphase indicator, respectively. The use of the specially crafted 17DM06-DT manual movement that clocks in a power reserve of 5 days “justifies the use of the “writing slope” case entirely made of sapphire” on the the Récital 26 Brainstorm® Chapter Two.
As the total number of movements produced is only 60, the Bovet Récital 26 Brainstorm® Chapter Two is limited to just 10 pieces each in three versions. For more details on the watch, visit here.
