Following the success of WatchTime India’s showcase of Citizen and Bulova watches in Delhi, the publication organised an exclusive evening for watch collectors and enthusiasts in Kochi. Held at the flagship store at Lulu Mall, the event offered guests an opportunity to discover and experience timepieces from both brands up close.
The highlight of the evening was the India launch of the diamond-studded Bulova Icon, with just one piece available in the country, now exclusively stocked at the Kochi flagship shop. A striking watch, the Bulova Icon is adorned with 62 diamonds, 52 diamonds surrounding the case and 10 hand-set on its silver-white dial. The 40 mm timepiece features a two-tone gold- and silver-colour stainless steel case topped with a curved sapphire crystal, paired with a gold-tone stainless steel bracelet and deployant clasp with pushers. The watch is powered by Bulova's proprietary Precisionist 262kHz three-hand calendar movement, bringing together distinctive design and high-precision quartz technology.
Adding a special Citizen moment to the evening, the World Environment Day contest winner for thoughts on Sustainability was felicitated as part of Citizen’s 50th Anniversary of Eco-Drive technology. The contest invited participants to share their thoughts and perspectives on sustainable living and the importance of protecting our environment. The initiative reflected Citizen’s long-standing commitment to sustainability and innovation, while celebrating five decades of Eco-Drive technology and its philosophy of using light as a clean and sustainable energy source.
The evening brought together Kochi's community of watch enthusiasts for an intimate showcase with the newly launched Bulova Icon taking centre stage. Here are some glimpses from the evening.
