Continuing its tradition of telling the story of its heritage and modern innovation, OMEGA presents a wonderful range of new timepieces for 2021. Read below for all the details:

For the year 2021, OMEGA marks the beginning of a newfound respect for time. For 2021, OMEGA launches a myriad of new watches that includes plenty of historical updates, the use of new and innovative materials and unique designs. “ Recently, time has never felt more important. We've all learned to cherish and appreciate the hours we have, and really make each one count. That’s why the values of quality, authenticity and craftsmanship really matter. More and more, people are embracing the idea of well-made products that not only feel meaningful, but also have a genuine human touch. This is exactly what an OMEGA watch offers,” says Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of OMEGA.

Here are the 2021 Novelties:

Seamaster 300 (In Blue & Black)

A household name in itself, the OMEGA Seamaster 300 represents one of the most famous watches in underwater history. Since its launch in 1957, the timepiece has accompanied a generation of divers on their adventures underwater. This time around, OMEGA launches a slimmer and an upgraded version of the classic Seamaster 300.

Following the spirit of the original models, the new Seamster 300 comes in a 41mm stainless steel case with thinner bezels that are made from an oxalic, anodised-treated aluminium that offers increased hardness. It has a slim inner frame that allows the dial to be displayed on a larger scale. This slim frame has been achieved with the help of a new domed sapphire crystal placed on the face of the watch.

The newly designed sandwich dials in blue and black with a base layer of Super-LumiNova and a secod plate over the top with cuttings is noticeable remarkable. The use of vintage Arabic open style numerals with the popular lollipop central seconds hand work beautifully. The dial is kept clean with just the OMEGA logo and the Seamaster 300 name, any references to the movement of the watch has been shifted to the caseback.

The Seamaster 300 is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8912 that is certified by the Swiss Federal Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) at the industry’s highest standards of precision, performance and magnetic resistance.

The watch is available in a stainless steel bracelet with an improved fit and finishing.

Seamaster 300 – the Bronze Gold model

For 2021, OMEGA expands the Seamaster 300 collection with a brand new watch crafted in 41mm OMEGA's exclusive Bronze Gold material. This is the first watch that has been created in this patent-pending alloy of OMEGA. Used for the entire case and buckle, the Bronze Gold material was created to offer a pleasing aesthetic while also ensuring that a bronze alloy could be worn with direct contact to skin.

This one-of-a-kind alloy is made up of noble elements such as 37.5% gold, hallmarked as 9K, as well as palladium and silver, to create a unique colour which sits exactly between the brand’s 18K Moonshine™ gold and 18K Sedna™ gold. Apart from its aesthetics, the material is extremely corrosion resistance without verdigris-oxidation making it age slowly and develop a beautiful patin over a very long period of time.

Complimenting the overall watch is the bezel ring in brown ceramic with a diving scale in Super-LumiNova. What is also interesting is the fact that, as the dial of the watch is an internal component, OMEGA has managed to use common bronze alloy (CuSn8) to give us a unique dark brown colour with a patina. This was due to the fact that the dial was created after a special ageing process had taken place for the material. Interesting, isn't it?

The watch comes equipped with the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8912 movement and a full 5 -year warranty.

Constellation Small Seconds

Seamaster Diver 300M Black Black

The OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M is one of the most famous diving watches in watchmaking history. Since its inception back in 1993, the collection has been a frontrunner when it comes to offering the best a diving watch can offer. This time around, the Seamaster Diver 300M embraces the dark side with a new model in the blackest black.

Crafted in a 43mm polished-brushed case in black ceramic, the watch is fixed to the wrist with an integrated black rubber strap. Further ensuring that every part of the watch is true to the blacked black theme, the watchmakers at OMEGA created the crown and helium escape valve in black ceramic. Despite having an all-black theme, OMEGA ensures that this does not prevent the legibility of the watch. From introducing an anthracite Super-LumiNova to the diving scale to the black PVD indexes and skeleton hands. These markers that glow in different colours in the dark turns into dark-grey in daylight.

Additionally, with this timepiece, OMEGA has for the first time laser-ablated every detail of the black ceramic dial. This means that every detail on the dial from the minute track to the wave-like pattern, has been crafted from one single piece of black ceramic.

The OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M Black Black is powered by OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, certified at the industry’s highest standards of precision, performance and magnetic resistance by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). This can be viewed via the open caseback and is equipped with OMEGA’s patented "NAIAD LOCK" with wave-edged design, which has been metallised with "NAIAD LOCK" and "DIVER 300M", "300 m / 1000 ft".

Speedmaster Moonwatch Velcro® Straps

Celebrating the shared history of OMEGA and NASA, the global watchmaker launches a range of new Velcro® straps with astronaut-friendly fixtures and bold branding. The collection features three 20mm straps in three significant colours; black, white and silver. Black represents the darkness of space and makes its a perfect match for the Moonwatch dial.

Additionally, black is a colour that is classic and cool. White signifies the Apollo-era spacesuits while also evoking OMEGA's historic mission to create the first space watch also known as the Alaska Project. Lastly the colour silver pays tribute to the shiny suits worn by astronauts during the pre-Apollo missions like Gemini and Mercury. It also caters to wearers who like the versatility of Velcro® and the look of metal. All three versions of the Velcro® strap is decorated with NASA's famous planet-shaped insignia in red, white and blue that was released in 1959.

Despite being perfect for the OMEGA Moonwatch, the newly released Velcro® straps are suited for any watch.
