We picked 7 watches that perfectly nail the Barbiecore trend

With the movie Barbie premiering yesterday and slated to release worldwide on July 21, we take a look at the watches that perfectly fit in Barbie’s world
Since the first look of Barbie, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, was unveiled earlier this year, the movie has received immense love all over the world. While it remains to be seen if the Greta Gerwig-directed film will live up to its hype, what is clear is that Barbie-inspired style has swept the fashion circles. So we’ve decided to shortlist the watches that will fit perfectly in this colourful fantasy world.

The time-only skeleton tourbillon watch, measuring 43.70 x 50.04 x 15.95mm has an asymmetrical front and is cast in the American golfer's signature colour, pink. The bezel and caseback are in pink and white Quartz TPT, while the caseband combines Carbon TPT and pink Quartz TPT layers to create a candy-like pattern. The Calibre 7 Automatic powers the watch and boasts about 56 hours of power reserve. The tapered H-shaped steel bracelet with folding clasp and double safety-push buttons complete the watch.

Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Yellow Neon SAXEM (Ref. 429.JY.0120.RT)

This timepiece, released in the early part of 2023, showcases Hublot’s prowess in material and colour development (just look at that shade of neon yellow!). The watch has a skeletonised dial showcasing the bridges in sapphire so as to display the mechanics as much as possible. The quartz timepiece has OMEGA Calibre 4061 driving it and offering 48 months battery life. The watch is water resistant to 30 metres and is finished with a mono-rang stainless steel bracelet.
