The Swiss watch brand hosted a cocktail evening at the Fifth Avenue Boutique in New York, to kickstart this years Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic event. The event saw the launch of the new timepiece, Classic Fusion Veuve Clicquot, and was attended by the media and friends of both the brands, as they mingled over a glass of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label champagne.
Vanessa Kay, Senior Vice President, Veuve Clicquot, shared, “The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic always turns out an exciting display of fashion and style, so a partnership with a brand like Hublot really encapsulates the spirit of the event. We wanted to create something unique to celebrate and commemorate the 10th anniversary, and what better way to remember a special moment in time than a watch.”
Hublot will be serving as the official timekeeper and scoreboard sponsor of the event, and Nacho Figueras will be seen sporting the collaboration timepiece.
Nacho Figueras, Captain, Veuve Clicquot Polo Team, noted, “It has been an honor to be a part of this amazing Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic event since the very beginning. My passion has always been to make polo a more mainstream and accessible sport and it is great to have the support of partners like Hublot to help bring new offerings to the experience. The 10th anniversary celebration will be one to remember!”
Hublot has shared a long relationship with the sport across the world through the Polo Gold Cup Gstaad, Ascona; the Sotogrande Polo Tournament, Cortina Winter Polo Cup, and more. The partnership reinforces the Art of Fusion concept, through the perfect synthesis between sports and tradition.
The Classic Fusion Veuve Clicquot will be available at the Hublot Fifth Avenue Boutique in New York City (743 Fifth Avenue at E. 58th Street), beginning on May 30 in a limited run of ten pieces. Retail price $17,700.
