A look at Glashütte Original’s Lady Serenade Valentine’s Day 2024

The watch, in shades of pastel, is adorned with brilliant-cut diamonds, and mother-of-pearl, making for an elegant Valentine’s Day gift
Like most brands, luxury watchmakers bring out Valentine’s Day timepieces, like Breguet’s Reine de Naples 8925 Valentine’s Day Edition released last month. Now adding to this growing 2024 list is Lady Serenade from Glashütte Original. The timepiece exudes charm with pastel colours, 53 brilliant-cut diamonds, and a beautiful mother-of-pearl dial, and is a limited edition of 50 pieces.

A watch for Valentine's Day
Glashütte Original’s  new, limited edition Lady Serenade for Valentine's Day 2024. A shimmering shade of pink meets the shine of radiant diamonds. There are no fewer than 52 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel of the polished stainless steel case with a diameter of 36mm, complemented by a brilliant-cut diamond on the crown, which gives the watch a charming decorative character.

The Lady Serenade's dial made of wafer-thin white mother-of-pearl is adorned with five large, elegantly curved Arabic numerals and six slim indices. They create a delicate colour gradient from magenta to rose to violet, which is only interrupted by the violet date display at 6 o'clock. The colour theme continues in the rose petal red Louisiana alligator leather strap. Alternatively, a classic metal strap is available.

The in-house automatic caliber 39-22 ensures that it always runs smoothly, and the wearer can admire its decorations such as the Glashütte stripe cut and the perlage through the sapphire crystal back, as well as the typical features of the Glashütte origin: the three-quarter plate, the swan neck fine adjustment and the skeletonized rotor with the double G logo from Glashütte Original. The Lady Serenade Valentine's Day Edition 2024, limited to 50 pieces, has been available in Glashütte Original boutiques and at selected retailers worldwide, at a price of approx. ₹11,10,000.
