Konstantin Chaykin started creating wristmon watches in 2017, which have developed a legion of fans in the years since. In Geneva Watch Days 2025, the brand is putting up the faces of animals and birds popular in the East, starting with the East Panda. The watch is crafted in titanium and will be produced in a run of 100 pieces per year.
Konstantin Chaykin East PandaThe latest release is a part of a series of five watches; the other four will include the “Wolf,” “Monkey,” “Falcon,” and “Tiger”. These watches are to be released in the coming Geneva Watch Days, each year, in the same order. The last of the series, “Tiger”, will be launched in 2029 and is said to be a major release in the set, as it will be equipped with a manufacture calibre, unlike the other four, which will have the Wristmon collection’s standard modular movements. Collectors who own the previous four watches will only be given the right to buy the fifth one.
The watch follows the brand’s signature Joker-indication system, in which the eyes of the Panda will indicate the hours and minutes, and the mouth displays the moonphase. The 40 mm titanium watch features a ribbed bezel, engraved with the five letters ‘PANDA’. Further details include panda ears-shaped upper lugs made with black carbon-fibre composite. The crown of the watch is located at 6 o’clock.
Through the sapphire crystal caseback, the automatic Calibre K.18-22 with 68 hours of power reserve can b eseen, which has the brand’s logo-shaped skeletonised rotor and specially developed wheel-train bridge that is shaped as a stylised map of Sichuan Province, the homeland of pandas. The movement is based on the automatic movement La Joux-Perret G200 movement. Complementing it is a black leather strap with a stainless steel pin buckle.
