Oris presents a limited edition of its Artelier Calibre 113 dedicated to the Year of the Horse

The 88-piece limited edition features a striking red colour scheme inspired by energy, momentum, and renewal
For 2026, which is the Year of the Fire Horse, beginning on 17 February, Oris joins this tradition with a particularly expressive Year of the Horse Limited Edition (Ref. 01 113 7806 4088-Set), that combines high-end mechanical watchmaking with symbolic design elements. The timepiece comes in a shade of fiery dark reds and crimsons reflecting energy, momentum, and renewal.

Oris Year of the Horse Limited Edition

At the heart of the Year of the Horse Limited Edition is the hand-wound Oris Calibre 113, one of the brand’s most technically ambitious movements. In addition to hours and minutes, it features a comprehensive business calendar displaying the day, date, month, and, notably, the week. The indication of the weeks via a scale running around the edge of the dark red dial with a fume effect in the two sub dials is a rare feat in mechanical watchmaking and underscores the complexity of this movement.

Beating at 3 Hz, the Calibre 113 also offers a non-linear power reserve indicator at 3 o'clock, designed to show remaining energy with greater precision as it approaches depletion. Adding a poetic touch, Oris incorporates galloping and resting horse motifs along the power reserve display, symbolizing moments when the mainspring is fully charged or ready to be rewound.

The multi-piece stainless steel case measures 43 mm in diameter, has a lug-to-lug length of 50mm, and a thickness of 13.1mm. Water-resistant to 50 meters, it is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal on both sides with anti-reflective coating on the inside. The screwed stainless steel case back features a sapphire pane that reveals the beautifully finished movement, with the giant single-barrel that allows for the 240 hours of power reserve taking center stage.

Limited to 88 numbered pieces, a number symbolizing double luck and double prosperity in Chinese culture, the Oris Year of the Horse Limited Edition comes with a dark brown cordovan leather strap and will be available from January 2026.
