The Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie is well known for their training academy which delivers around 300 courses to develop their participants' knowledge of watches and watchmaking. The objective of the FHH Academy is to increase the desirability of Haute Horlogerie. Today, keeping the ever-growing e-commerce industry in mind, FHH takes the training a notch higher with their new app: Watch Live.
A participatory platform, the app already has eight brands on board, namely A. Lange & Söhne, Baume & Mercier, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Piaget,
Officine Panerai, Manufacture Roger Dubuis and Vacheron Constantin. Watch Live offers three main functions to its users: FOLLOW (rather than eight clicks on eight different brands, staff can get up-to-speed with developments at all the brands in one click), LEARN (during the daily commute or a quiet moment in the store, Watch Live gives staff bite-sized learning opportunities that cover the basics of watchmaking as well as the specificities of partner-brands' collections and flagship watches), and PLAY (learning is more effective when it's fun. Watch Live invites staff to work their way through challenges and progress to become the number-one seller and, at the same time, earn goodies, invitations and exclusive gifts which are managed by the brands in their space).
The functions together aim at increasing the overall customer experience by a brand, by offering up-to-date training and industry news to the sales staff on every continent, in multiple languages.
The app is free and downloadable from the App Store, Google Play and the main Chinese stores (Myapp, 360 Mobile Assistant, Xiaomi App Store, Xiaomi Game Center, etc.).
