IWC X Formula One

IWC brings the Formula One World Champions to your wristwatches

As the “Official Engineering Partner” for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport since 2013, IWC honours this long standing partnership with the release of two extraordinary limited edition Pilot's watches – the Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition "Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport" (Ref. IW503003) and the Pilot's Watch Chronograph Edition "Mercedes- AMG Petronas Motorsport" (Ref. IW389005).

While the former is limited to just 10 pieces and houses a case made of black zirconium oxide ceramic, the latter is limited to 50 watches and features a black ceramic case. Both the watch feature a black carbon fibre dial filled with accents of the luminous material in the team colour of PETRONAS Emerald Green that works perfectly against the all-black dial backdrop.

The Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition "Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport" (Ref. IW503003) as the name suggests houses a perpetual calendar complication that detects the different number of days in a month and adds an extra day at the end of February every four years. Powered by the IWC-manufactured calibre 52615, the mechanical programming of the watch will not need to be adjusted until 2100. Strapped to a black calfskin leather strap, the Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition "Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport" is a sporty timepiece deeply inspired by the team.

The Pilot's Watch Chronograph Edition "Mercedes- AMG Petronas Motorsport" (Ref. IW389005) houses a chronograph and flyback function with a small seconds counter at 6 o' clock in the team colour PETRONAS Emerald Green. It is powered by the IWC-manufactured calibre 89361 and clocks in a power reserve of 68 hours. The Pilot's Watch Chronograph Edition "Mercedes- AMG Petronas Motorsport" (Ref. IW389005) is available in a black calf leather strap.
