The Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon offers two new models featuring a new dial design that evokes the beauty of a clear night sky. Blending the refinement of enamel with the shimmering of aventurine glass, the new versions bring forth the unique effect of a star-lit sky. The timepiece's gold dial is covered with a blend of crushed aventurine glass and “Grand Feu” enamel that offers a unique aesthetic due to the organic nature of its materials.
The two models are available in 18k white and pink gold case. While the former is set with a smoked blue aventurine dial, the latter features a black aventurine dial with pink gold hour-markers, Arabic numerals and hands. The blue dial version is equipped with white gold markers and endowed with a smoked effect for added depth and refinement. Both the versions houses the flying tourbillon cage at 6 o' clock on their dials in their respective case materials.
“The latest expression of the Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon brings together the dreamlike beauty of the aventurine dial with the inherent technicity of this important complication.” says Michael Friedman, Head of Complication, Audemars Piguet.
The two watches of the Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon is powered by the Selfwidning Manufacture Calibre 2950 that clocks in a power reserve of 65 hours. Both of them are available in a hand-stitched “large square-scale” black alligator strap.
