In 2023, Frederique Constant participated in Watches and Wonders for the first time, and it was also the year that marked the brand’s 35th anniversary. The brand commemorated the special occasion with the release of a 150-piece limited edition Classic Tourbillon Manufacture in 18K rose gold. Continuing that, the brand has released a new iteration (Ref. FC-980GR3H6), crafted in stainless steel and featuring a green dial. The other release from the brand is a Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture in a salmon dial.
Classic Tourbillon Manufacture
(Ref. FC-980GR3H6)The Classic Tourbillon Manufacture follows the design codes of its predecessors. It has a 39mm case with a traditional onion-shaped crown. The green radiant sunburst dial features faceted hour markers and hands and a tourbillon at 6 o’clock, which has a slim seconds hand on its upper bridge.
On the reverse side, the transparent sapphire crystal reveals the automatic in-house Calibre FC-980, boasting a 38-hour power reserve. It is the same calibre that appeared in the 2023 model. A matching green alligator leather strap finishes the watch.
The latest Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture is crafted in stainless steel and has a 40mm case redesigned with gentle lines and slimmer lugs. The timepiece is incorporated with a minimal salmon dial featuring months and leap years at 12 o’clock, days at 9 o’clock, the date at 3 o’clock, and a moonphase at 6 o’clock.
