Audemars Piguet adds five new Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph 37mm

The bejewelled timepieces celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Royal Oak Offshore
The Royal Oak Offshore line is celebrating its 30th anniversary by launching four new 37mm chronographs whose focus is on precious gemstones and one 37mm x 12.1mm ‘Music Edition’ Offshore in ceramic. The 43mm models of the Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph Automatic, launched in 2021, are the inspiration behind the latest references in 18K rose gold, yellow gold, and stainless steel. The dials of the fresh watches - light blue, royal blue, black, and a subtle salmon tone - have a PVD coating and appear softer. Also, the new "Lady Tapestry" pattern, whose truncated pyramids are slightly wider than in the previous versions, has become a part of the 37mm collection. The AP monogram has been revised and adapted to the proportions of the watch, replacing the Audemars Piguet signature. The hour indices are also slightly more prominent.

The Music Edition ceramic watch Ref. 77600CE.OO.A002CA.01 has knurled textured studs and a dial featuring a recording studio equaliser with its metre bars in different colours. The difference between this iteration and the one launched last year is the size - the 2022 edition was 43mm. The new watch is powered by a self winding Calibre 5909, boasting about 60 hours of power reserve. The ‘Mosaic’ black rubber strap flanks the case. Additionally, turquoise blue, yellow and green rubber straps with “mosaic effect” texture are provided with the watch. The music edition watch is water resistant to 50 metres, and is limited to 250 pieces only.

Two models Ref. 26231OR.ZZ.A085CA.01 and Ref. 26231ST.ZZ.A178CA.01 have bezels set with brilliant-cut diamonds, while the other two Ref. 26236BA.YY.D346CA.01 and 26236OR.YY.D002CA.01, have baguette-cut rainbow gemstones. The case of the models with brilliant-cut diamonds is made of either 18K rose gold or stainless steel. The stainless steel model with a diamond-set bezel has a dial in a warm salmon tone and comes on a light grey interchangeable rubber strap. An additional dark grey rubber strap sets contrasts. The rose gold version with a contrasting light blue dial comes with a beige interchangeable rubber strap, an additional light blue rubber strap is also included.

Colourful gems for the Royal Oak Offshore
The bezels are colourfully accented with baguette-cut gemstones set in channel settings. The gemstones frame the 18K rose gold and 18K yellow gold cases. The yellow gold timepiece has been fitted with a royal blue dial. Green tsavorites and yellow and blue sapphires have been selected for this model. The blue interchangeable rubber strap harmonises with the colour of the dial, an additional rubber strap in light green is included.

The watches are powered by the automatic chronograph Caliber 2385 from Audemars Piguet (with base calibre Frédéric Piguet 1185), which also displays the hours, minutes, a small second and the date. The frequency is 3Hz (21,600 vibrations/hour), the power reserve is 40 hours.
