Breitling reveals updated Avenger in a new range of watches

The new set of watches are launched across Avenger B01 Chronograph, Night Mission, GMT, and Automatic collections
Breitling created the Avenger for the jet pilots two decades ago and while it is considered a nearly new lineup, it has proved itself as one of the most enduring links to aviation. Now, the Avenger gets an updated look with sleek cases, square lugs, and grip pattern crown and bezel, and comes in several models launched across the collection which include 44 mm chronograph and night mission, 44 mm automatic GMT, and 42 mm automatic. 

Avenger B01 Chronograph 44
The 44mm timepieces are crafted in stainless steel and are topped with glare-proofed cambered sapphire. The iterations are incorporated with a 60-minute unidirectional rotating ratcheted bezel and the core models of the collection come in blue, green, black, or sand-coloured dial. The face of the watches have accents of red along with a red-tipped ¼ second chrono hand. There are Super-LumiNova® coated baton hour markers and hands, black contrasting 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, with a date window at its bottom, a small seconds and a counter at 9 o’clock. The novelties are offered with matching military leather strap with folding pin buckle or stainless-steel bracelet with folding clasp. 


Avenger B01 Chronograph 44 Night Mission
This lineup is joined by two 44mm timepieces crafted with scratch resistant black ceramic and is incorporated with titanium crowns. The dials offered in the collection are black or yellow with black chronograph counters like the aforementioned timepieces, and features Arabic hour markers and hands filled with  Super-LumiNova®.

The chronograph models are powered by COSC-certified Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, beating at a frequency of 4Hz and offering 70 hours of power reserve. Complementing the COSC-certified chronographs are the matching military leather strap with steel or titanium folding pin buckle or stainless-steel bracelet with folding clasp. 


Avenger Automatic GMT 44

Avenger Automatic GMT 44 (Ref. A32320101B1A1)

These stainless steel crafted watches also measure 44mm in diameter and are offered in black and naval blue colour. The model features a red GMT hand which helps in reading the Zulu time along with a 24-hour rotating bezel, a date window at 3 o’clock, and Super-LumiNova® filled hands and hour markers. Powering it is a COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 32, beating at a frequency of 4HZ and boasting a power reserve of about 42 hours. A Black or blue military leather strap with folding pin buckle or stainless-steel bracelet with folding clasp flanks the case. 

Avenger Automatic 42
Avenger Automatic 42 (Ref. A17328101C1X1)

Constructed in steel, the three novelties launched under it measures 42mm, and are available in three dial options - black, naval-blue, or camo-green dial. The aesthetics of the watches are similar to that of GMT models except for the red GMT hand. Driving the creations is the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 17 with a frequency of 4Hz and a power reserve of 38 hours. Complementing the watches are a black, blue, or green military leather strap with folding pin buckle or stainless-steel bracelet with folding clasp.

The refreshed Avenger lineup watches are water resistant up to 300 metres.
