The “Creating a Stage: The Collection of Marsha and Robin Williams” auction is the latest announcement by the Sotheby's Auction House. Offering a collection of works spanning both Marsha's and Robin's diverse interests and careers, the autumn auction is set to go live on the 4th October, later this year.
The collection reflects “their shared passion for collecting” including many movie and entertainment memorabilia, like autographed scripts, awards, props and wardrobe. The auction will also include more than 40 timepieces from Robin's personal collection.
Sotheby's has just released six lots right now, including a 45mm fine white gold tonneau-form minute repeating tourbillon Franck Muller wristwatch. The 18k white gold comes with a silver guilloche dial and 32 jewels. The dial features Arabic numerals, with an aperture at the 6 o'clock position for the tourbillon carriage combined with subsidiary seconds, fan-form sector for the minute repeating power reserve indication. The watch is accompanied with a presentation box, a certificate, and instruction for use. The estimate for the watch is around $25,000 - $35,000.
