Raymond Weil quits Baselworld

Yet another brand joins the bandwagon. Family-owned independent brand Raymond Weil announces its decision to leave Baselworld.

It's been forty years since the family-owned independent brand Raymond Weil has been putting up absolutely-amazing displays at Baselworld. They chose to end their final year at the fair, with a music-inspired exhibit (but of course) – full with a drum set, guitars and Marshall speakers.

Yes, you read that right. Raymond Weil recently called quits after the recent announcement by the Swatch Group to leave the watch fair. The young boss of the family brand, Elie Bernheim confirmed this information to Time by saying, “developments in the watch industry have pushed us to review our strategy”. The brand has admittedly been reinforced to adapt to the changing times even though this wasn't primarily their first choice.
