Chopard's Happy Diamonds collection personifies a call to freedom and happiness. It is one of the brand's most iconic emblems that vibrates and spreads its joy through generations. Giving a face to this incredibly collection for Chopard is Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone whose infectious laugh and strong and free personality makes her the perfect choice.

She is a part of the seven Happy Women hand-picked by Caroline Scheufele to embody the unparalled influence of the Happy Diamonds collection. These Seven Friends of the Maison represent a strong, free and joyful way of living according to their own way.

The incredibly successful Hollywood star Julia Roberts who is also known to have the world's most radiant smile joins Chopard in becoming the new face of the Happy Sport women watches. 

“It was her and nobody else! Julia Roberts was the only person I felt could convey the spirit that I see in Happy Sport.” said Caroline Scheufele, Co-President & Artistic Director of Chopard. The movie star has been associated with the brand when she first attended the Cannes Film Festival in 2016 wearing an off-the-shoulder black dress highlighting a Chopard Haute Joaillerie emerald and diamond necklace.

Since her first entry into the movies back in 1990, Julia Roberts has uniquely personified the ultimate free-spirit woman from her memorable roles in movies like Pretty Woman, Erin Brockovich, Eat Pray Love and many others. “I am honoured to be collaborating with Chopard on the Happy Sport watch, one of the most iconic and desirable models in the industry.” says Julia Roberts.

The collaboration kicked off with Caroline Scheufele entrusting the artistic direction of the new campaign to renowned director Xavier Dolan. Both these icons joined together to bring us a short film that reflects the Joie de Vivre inherent in the Happy Sport watches. The collaboration also reflects Chopard's deep connection with the world of cinema.

Along with the announcement, Chopard also released new versions of the Happy Sport watch in a comfortable 33mm case size for the very first time. This particular size of the watch has been chosen in reference to the “golden-ratio” principles of perfect harmony. Available in 12 new references, the new Happy Sport watches comes in a variety of materials ranging from steel, ethical 18K rose gold to two-tone versions. Some of these editions are set with diamond-set bezel while others are made of ethical 18K white gold that is complete with a diamond-set case, bezel, crown and bracelet. Each of these versions are powered by the Chopard Manufacture 09.01-C movement and a dial featuring the legendary dancing diamonds.

The all-new Chopard Happy Sport editions are available in leather straps or matching metal bracelets.
