Founded in 1833, the brand began with LeCoultre’s invention of the Millionomètre, the world’s most precise measuring instrument at the time. In 1903, the company partnered with French watchmaker Edmond Jaeger, leading to the creation of ultra-thin movements and officially forming Jaeger-LeCoultre in 1937. The brand is celebrated for iconic creations like the Reverso, designed in 1931 for polo players with its unique reversible case. Additionally, Jaeger-LeCoultre has contributed over 1,300 calibres to horological innovation, including the Calibre 101, the smallest movement in the world, and complex creations like the Atmos clock, which can transform ambient temperature variations into mechanical energy.
