Jaeger-LeCoultre launched the Rendez-Vous collection, made specially for women, in 2012. Radiating femininity, the timepieces in the line feature night and day indications, moonphase, celestial charts, perpetual calendars, tourbillon, and shooting star compilations. The new Rendez-Vous Jewellery Tourbillon (Ref. Q3412480) further extends the line.
Rendez-Vous Jewellery TourbillonThe latest Rendez-Vous Jewellery Tourbillon iteration sticks to the signature codes of the tourbillon pieces of the collection. This is a 39mm 18K pink gold watch set with 215 brilliant-cut diamonds on the sides along with the bezel, dial, and crown. The dial aesthetics are largely unchanged - oversized numerals mark the hours and there is a tourbillon at 6 o’clock, where the running seconds completes a revolution in a minute. The dial colour is a ‘serenity blue’ with a sunray finish, which changes hues depending on the angle in which the light hits it.
Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback is the in-house designed, assembled, and decorated Calibre 978, beating at 4Hz and offering 45 hours of power reserve. One can see the decoration on the back as well as the 22K pink gold oscillating weight with Jaeger-LeCoultre's name and logo on it. An interchangeable light petrol blue alligator leather strap with double folding pink gold buckle flanks the case. The timepiece is water resistant up to 50 metres.
