Watches and Wonders 2026: TAG Heuer presents new Monaco models

The brand is building on the legacy of Monaco lines, taking design references and more…
TAG Heuer’s Monaco line is one of the most iconic collections from the brand, immediately recognisable with its square case. Introduced in 1969 and forever linked to Steve McQueen through the film Le Mans, TAG Heuer is building its legacy with the introduction of new models at Watches and Wonders 2026.

TAG Heuer Monaco Evergraph
The TAG Heuer Monaco Evergraph (Ref. CEW5180.FT8122) is powered by the Calibre TH80-00, displaying hours, minutes, seconds, and a chronograph. The movement is equipped with the TH-Carbonspring oscillator, which was released last year, and delivers resistance to magnetic fields and stable precision, operating at 5 Hz. It has a 70-hour power reserve, backed by a COSC certification and a five-year warranty.

The dial is made of transparent acrylic with white and red markings, featuring white Super-LumiNova® applied indexes and bridges with a black DLC coating. It includes two counters: A minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock and a small seconds counter at 9 o’clock, both with black gold-coated hands and red lacquered tips. The open-worked hour and minute hands are black gold-coated with white Super-LumiNova® and red lacquered tips, complemented by a red lacquered central chronograph hand. The dial also features the printed TAG Heuer logo along with “MONACO,” “SWISS,” and “MADE.”

The 40 mm case is made of black DLC-coated grade 5 titanium with a fixed bezel, domed sapphire crystal, and a crown positioned at 9 o’clock, accompanied by pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock. The case back is made of sapphire and secured with screws, and the watch offers water resistance to 100 meters. It is paired with a black rubber strap with textile embossing and red stitching, along with a black DLC-coated grade 5 titanium folding clasp. Ref. CEW5181.FT8123 features blue accents echoing the Reference 1133B made famous by Steve McQueen. Blue opaline sub-dials take centre stage in this reference paired with a blue rubber strap with textile embossing and grey stitching.

New models of TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph

More than half a century after its debut, the TAG Heuer Monaco enters a new phase with an updated case design focused on wearability with gently curved sides and caseback curbed towards the edges. It is now powered by the in-house automatic Calibre TH20-11. The TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph (Ref. CDW2181.FC8360) displays hours, minutes, seconds, and a chronograph, with a dial featuring a 60-second and minute scale, a chronograph counter at 3 o’clock, and a small seconds indicator at 9 o’clock. It includes applied indexes and hands with Super-LumiNova®, a central chronograph hand, a date at 6 o’clock, and printed inscriptions like the Ref. CEW5180.FT8122. The 39 mm case is made of grade 5 titanium with a fixed bezel, sapphire crystal, a crown at 9 o’clock, pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock, and a sapphire case back, offering water resistance to 100 meters. It is paired with a black calfskin leather strap and a grade 5 titanium folding clasp with double push buttons. The collection is presented in three versions, including a blue model linked to Le Mans worn by Steve McQueen, a green version, and a black version in titanium and 18K 5N rose gold, each paired with a strap and a titanium folding clasp.
