Roger Dubuis’ Titanium Damascus graces its Knights of the Round Table collection

The Hyper-Horology brand brings its latest iteration roaring the story of Arthurian adventure
Paying tribute to the legendary stories of King Arthur, Roger Dubuis has first unveiled its Knights of the Round Table collection with the Excalibur Automatic Limited Edition in 2013. After several iterations over the years, this time, the brand carried forward the lineup with the new Knights of the Round Table - Titanium Damascus 45mm (Ref. DBEX1058), a limited edition of 28 pieces, which express the stories of heroes defending their kingdom once again.

The 45mm timepiece comes with a Damascus titanium case topped with anti-reflective coated Sapphire crystal, a Damascus Titanium bezel with sapphire crystal ring and a Murano glass crown in titanium and blue.

Reminiscing an ice-bound lake, the face of the dial features bleu varnish magma base on which are the cracked and frozen blocks made with blue Murano glass and white porcelain, exhibiting a threat to the 12 micro-sculptures of the noble knights defending their kingdom; crafted with 18K pink gold, each knight is set in a different defending posture. There is a blue Murano glass flange and pink gold skeletonised hands coated with Super-LumiNova.

Powering the timepiece is a Roger Dubuis’ automatic mechanical calibre RD821, whose all the parts are hand-finished according to the traditional criteria of the Poinçon de Genève; the movement is certified by Poinçon de Genève, which is one of the most demanding certifications in Haute Horlogerie. The movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph, and offers a power reserve of about 48 hours. Complementing the timepiece is a blue calf leather strap interchangeable with Quick Release System and titanium cover with titanium triple folding buckle.
