Breitling unveils Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team

The timepiece marks the debut of a titanium case in the Navitimer series
Breitling has a strong presence when it comes to association with sports, say it football, cycling, surfing, Ironman and many more. But the brand has never directly collaborated with F1 until now. The brand has now officially collaborated with Aston Martin and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team for their latest Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 (Ref. EB01381A1B1X1)

Teased for several days by Breitling stating “Time and speed, about to meet again” the new timepiece marks the return of Breitling to F1. The watch is limited to 1,959 pieces, marking the tribute to the year when Aston Martin made its debut in Formula 1®.

Inspired by the materials found in the F1 Car cockpit the watch features a carbon-fiber dial showing chronograph counters at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock and a date window within the 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock. The lime accented chronograph hand draws inspiration from the Aston
Martin Aramco livery. The watch is also lightweight, thanks to its 43 mm titanium case, a first for the brand’s Navitimer line.

“Aston Martin builds cars that are as much about presence as performance,” says Georges Kern, CEO of Breitling. “We share that same heritage of iconic design: every line, finish, and proportion has purpose. Nothing is left to chance,” he added. Lawrence Stroll, Executive Chairman of Aston Martin and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team says “Today, we’re proud to welcome Breitling to the team. Beyond a shared heritage, we are united by values that drive everything we do. The precision, craftsmanship and engineering
excellence we pursue at Aston Martin Aramco are lived and breathed by Breitling. We look forward to working together.”

Visible through the open caseback is the COSC-certified chronometer Calibre Caliber B01 and a specially designed tungsten coated matte-black rotor with Aston Martin Formula One™ Team logo. The caseback also features the phrase “Instruments for Drivers”. The watch boasts a power reserve of about 70 hours.

The watch is water resistant up to 30 metres and is offered with the racing car’s seat belt inspired embossed leather strap.
