Omega introduces vibrant orange to the Seamaster Diver 300M

Over the past two decades, the colour orange has become a hallmark of Omega’s dive watch DNA, a colour that enhances visibility underwater while adding an aesthetic punch. Now, the maison integrates this signature hue into the iconic Seamaster Diver 300M, introducing two striking stainless steel references.

The launch follows the recent updates of the Diver 300M line that includes a domed sapphire crystal, a brushed mesh bracelet, and oxalic anodised aluminium bezels — an upgrade from the traditional ceramic that offers a refined matte texture and robust corrosion resistance. These latest orange-accented models carry forward this new design language, however, with a black-and-orange motif.

Seamaster Diver 300M

Each 42 mm model features a black aluminium dial contrasted by rhodium-plated skeletonised hands and indexes, all filled with white Super-LumiNova that emits a deep blue glow in low-light environments. The tip of the central seconds hand, the quarter-hour markers, and the ‘Seamaster’ wordmark are coated with an orange varnish — a nod to the model’s underwater heritage.

Staying true to the Seamaster Diver 300M’s storied lineage, the brand retains the essential hallmarks of the model: the helium escape valve at 10 o’clock, scalloped bezel, protruding crown guards, and the diving scale—now rendered in white Super-LumiNova on the anodised aluminium insert, enhancing legibility even in murky depths.

The watch comes in two options. There is a refreshed stainless steel mesh bracelet with a secure clasp, the other is a vivid orange rubber strap with an integrated design and foldover clasp.

Powering each timepiece is the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, visible through the transparent sapphire caseback. Certified by METAS, this movement guarantees exceptional accuracy, anti-magnetic performance up to 15,000 gauss, and superior chronometric reliability under the most demanding conditions.
