Founded by Heinrich Moser in 1828, H. Moser & Cie. has thrived since its inception - it is said that Moser created 5,00,000 watches in his lifetime. However, due to the Quartz Crisis, the brand had to face several changes in ownership. The brand’s revival happened in the early 2000s when it was acquired by MELB Holding, the Meylan family’s investment firm, led by Edouard Meylan (who is now the CEO and the owner of the company, along with other family members placed in the business). The prominent collections by the brand include the Endeavour Perpetual Calendar, praised for its minimal and clean aesthetics for a complicated watch; Pioneer, a sportier collection; Streamliner, a modern, integrated bracelet sports watch inspired by 1970s design; and Heritage, featuring classic case shapes and enamel or skeletonised dials.
