WatchTime India and Zimson Watches join hands to showcase Longines’ latest Spirit Zulu Time and Ultra-Chron Carbon timepieces

In collaboration with WatchTime India, Zimson Watches hosted an exclusive showcase at its Longines boutique in Forum Mall — the only one of its kind in the city. The event spotlighted Longines' latest launches: the Spirit Zulu Time and the Ultra-Chron Carbon.
On a Saturday evening in Kochi, watch lovers gathered at Zimson’s Longines boutique in Forum Mall, for an exclusive showcase of the new Spirit Zulu Time and the Ultra-Chron Carbon timepieces. Zimson is a leading watch retail chain with 60 boutiques in South India, and its standalone Longines boutique is the only one of its kind in Kochi.

The Spirit Zulu Time and the Ultra-Chron Carbon are the latest high-powered releases from Longines, and follow in a long line of exceptional timepieces from the brand. The Spirit Zulu Time is a nod to Longines's first dual-time zone watch launched in 1925 (read more about it here). The latest iteration features a bidirectional rotating bezel in pink gold. It is powered by Calibre L844.4, boasting a power reserve of 72 hours. The Ultra-Chron Carbon on the other hand is inspired by the aesthetic codes and professional diving features of the 1968 model, the Ultra-Chron Diver, the first dive watch equipped with a high-frequency movement, Caliber 431. The new watch is encased in a titanium and carbon case, it houses the Calibre L836 offering a power reserve of 52 hours (read more about it here).

Watch collectors and enthusiasts got the opportunity to see and experience the timepieces up-close - Nayeem Nawaz Khan, Director, and Waseem Nawaz Khan, Creative Director,  Zimson Watches, welcomed the attendees and personally took them through the features of the watches. WatchTime India’s Editor-in-Charge Preetika Mathew, encouraged guests to share anecdotes about Longines watches from their personal collections, with each other, and participate in a fun quiz about both the watches.  Catch some glimpses from the event here...
